About Our School
Located in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Carlsbad Early College High School (CECHS) is a distinctive institution on the Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) campus. Since its establishment, CECHS has offered students in grades 9-12 the unique opportunity to graduate with both a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit, a certificate, or an Associate's Degree. With a focus on career pathways, the school enrolls approximately 200 students and provides programs in various fields such as health science, IT, education, business management, social work, criminal justice, and engineering. CECHS is committed to preparing students for future success through rigorous academics and practical career readiness initiatives.
